How do I choose my playlist?

I usually plan what I am going to play on a monday or tuesday? I usually chill out with music on my headphones from my ipod or laptop. to feel inspired.
I try to pick a wide variety of songs with no particular genre, unless Valentines day or Christmas is close by then I will pick songs with a theme.

I am open to requests, dedications and will play any type of music which is suitable for airplay. I particular favour Pop, Rock, Ska, Reggae with no one decade singled out as favourite or left out from the playlists.

Where did i drag it up from?

This is probably the most fun part of my show where I pick out 3 songs one for every hour. A song which will make you laugh, smile or cringe to.
These songs are usually of a comedy element the likes of the Wurzels, The Firm, Chas n Dave etc.
It is a bit of fun and I love it on my show each week.. I get the feeling people tune into my shows just for this part of my shows. Nethertheless its a great part of my show.

Dont I stick to a running order?

Most radio stations stick to set running orders and DJ`s dont get a say as to what gets played but here we get to pick everything we want to play ourselves.
We do have to stick to strict rules from the licensing regulators as to things we can say on air but we generally do things the way we want to. It works for all of us.

Its a great atmosphere on krystalradio and that is reflected in each of our shows from all the Presenters.

We have a good loyal following on krystalradio and it continues to grow week on week but please do tell your friends, family, colleagues spread the word we are on air online and entertaining you.
